Weight: 189

Catchphrase: A simple smile will make anyone's day brighter~!

Appeals:

Daisuke is warm and enjoys a positive atmosphere. The bright vibe the boy gives off draws others to his natural sunshine. Dancing is what Daisuke enjoys doing the most, and his performance reflects his love for the dance. His attempts at singing show clearly that he is not used to it, and is still trying to find his voice. The crowd seems to enjoy watching him blush and try to have fun with the song even if he feels his vocals are not strong. He is a bundle of positive energy, and that shows in almost everything he does.

Personality:

Energetic: Whether on stage or hanging out with friends, Daisuke is a great ball of energy. It is hard for him to sit still and relax in one spot for a long amount of time. He will do anything to expel some of that energy bursting out of him. Dance is one of those things. He is able to pour out all that energy in a dance, leaving him with a radiant smile and a lighter heart. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to some, and those people would dislike him, much to Daisuke's disappointment.

Thoughtful: Despite his loud, frantic, hyper nature, Daisuke is a sweet boy. He will go out of his way to show people small acts of kindness. Whether it's remembering their favorite candy, or doing something small to make them smile, Daisuke will do anything he can to make someone happy. He may not be very bright, but he knows when he is getting on someone's nerves. If he feels that he is being a little too loud or hyper, Daisuke will attempt to pull back a bit in order to make the person he is spending time with more comfortable.

Resilient: Anytime something bad happens to Daisuke, the boy would easily bounce back from it. Even after he was nearly drowned, Daisuke still adores summer and is incredibly trusting (though he can't help being afraid of the water now…) Any setback Daisuke experiences, he comes out of it swinging and taking a few steps forward in the process. He is used to people calling him names and insulting him. Even if someone says something extremely hurtful to him, Daisuke can appear as though he had forgotten it when the next day comes around. He does remember and it might still hurt him, but Daisuke refuses to let that pain rule his life and his personality.

Hard Worker: Daisuke enjoys helping others and will work hard in any task given to him. Sometimes he won't perform the task correctly, but he clearly shows wonderful work ethic. He doesn't complain much about manual labor and will usually offer to help if someone is struggling with a certain objective. He never minds a little sweat and hard work during the day. It helps him keep his wandering mind on earth rather than in the clouds. Though sometimes his determination can get him into trouble..

Insecure: This insecurity is not very noticeable. When it comes to dancing, he feels free and happily accepts criticism with grace. Though he is not so confident in his looks. Just glancing into the mirror, Daisuke is able to point out many insignificant flaws that seem huge to him. He is especially insecure about his singing voice. That, and his body image, are the only things he takes to heart and harbors for long periods of time. If someone states that his voice sounds funny or points out a flaw on his face or body, Daisuke cannot help but focus on those things until he feels they are fixed.. Or if he forgets.

Biography:

Daisuke was born on the twenty-second of August His brother, Eichi, was born five years earlier. Their family consisted of themselves, and their mother and father. Their mother, Saiko, was a woman of business, working only for the joy of money. Their father was a musician named Koichi, enjoying his art and sharing it with his two children. Daisuke took quickly to the bass guitar while his older brother, Eichi, was more focused on video games and drawing. Daisuke also began to enjoy dancing more than he did making the music. Though his father was not much of a dancer, Koichi encouraged this creative outlet and even payed for private dance lessons everywhere they moved to. Koichi was proud of his two sons and his wife, whom he loved with all his heart.

Unfortunately, Saiko divorced her husband within two years of Daisuke's birth. Saiko thought that it would be better if her sons did not have her in their lives. She felt as though she would hold them back. After all, she was a woman of business. She loved money and she loved power. She did not love dancing and music. Childish, silly things she had no interest in. And to see that her entire family consisted now of artists after Daisuke's birth, Saiko felt that she no longer belonged and would only be a bother. Though she did love Koichi, she did not like how childish he was. A grown man with two children and he was still playing silly songs in a band? Saiko found it ridiculous and embarrassing. Even though she loved Koichi, that love changed and she was no longer in love with the man. Even though they divorced, Saiko would still try to at least keep in touch. . .

Ever since his mother left them, Daisuke and his little family had been traveling from city to city, moving every few months. They were never stable, making it difficult for Daisuke to connect with anyone or keep any long term friendships. For a long time it was just him and his older brother, Eichi. Though everywhere they moved to, Daisuke seemed like the perfect target for bullies. The boy with no friends. However, every time a child would try to bully him, Daisuke would simply smile and show kindness. Most of those boys trying to bully him ended up befriending him. It was that shinning and loving heart he had. They couldn't hurt the boy no matter how hard they tried. Once, Daisuke returned home bruised and bloody, clearly beaten by a few older boys. Eichi was ready to rip them apart, but Daisuke begged for his brother to stay out. Daisuke wanted to deal with it in his own way.. A few days after, Daisuke was friend with those boys.. Until they had to move again.

Daisuke still maintained a relationship with his stern mother, barely remembering the divorce. He still had love for his mother even though she wasn't around as often as he would have liked. Though his older brother held a bitter resentment towards their mother, clearly not accepting the divorce as well as Daisuke. Still, Saiko continued to stop by at random moments in their lives, checking in to make sure her sons were growing and prospering. Koichi would try to keep a steady friendly relationship with his ex wife, though it proved difficult. He had loved her so much and yet he knew that he was not the right man for her anymore. . .

As the years went by, Daisuke became engrossed with his own appearance. He could barely remember a time when he didn't worry about his appearance. Daisuke was constantly checking his weight, taking care of his skin so he wouldn't get many blemishes, working and working on himself to make sure he looked how he felt he should look. At thirteen, Daisuke was barely eating anything, something Eichi had noticed for a few months. Though it became more noticeable when Daisuke began taking a little longer in the bathroom than usual. Eichi confronted his younger brother about his anorexia, trying to help him understand that there was nothing wrong with him. Daisuke soon admitted that, along with being anorexic, he was also bulimic. But they were taking a toll on his dancing. Keeping it a secret from their father, Eichi helped Daisuke fight through anorexia and bulimia.

Eventually, their family moved to the city in which Daisuke had his first boyfriend, named Izumi. Daisuke was just fourteen and Izumi was a year older. The two met in a private dance class they were both enrolled in. Though they did love each other, and enjoyed their relationship together, they soon both realized they were better suited as friends. Even now, Daisuke considers Izumi as his best friend, and keeps a close relationship with him. Though, when Daisuke turned sixteen, he began dating a girl named Momoe. This relationship did not end as smoothly as his first one. Spoiled and bratty, Momoe was not a fit match for Daisuke. He soon realized it and ended their relationship, offering to at least remain friends. But Momoe was not interested in friendship. Only to be together again. Momoe eventually began to stalk the family, threatening and scaring them all.

Momoe was from a wealthy family, so she was used to having her way. She still wanted Daisuke for herself, so she would resort to disturbing, even terrifying measures to ensure Daisuke's heart to her. Though each attempt only drew Daisuke farther and farther away from her. Eventually, Momoe had done something insane. She had emailed Daisuke using a different email address and another computer, describing that she had finally given up and wanted to make it up to him by going to the beach. It was summer, his favorite time of year. And with Daisuke being so forgiving and trusting, he felt that there was still a little good left in Momoe. So he gave her a chance and visited her at a private beach with Eichi. Unfortunately, Momoe was not there to fix things between her and Daisuke. The girl had tried to "teach" him how to swim and allowed his body to be pulled out to sea. Daisuke nearly drowned before his brother jumped in and rescued Daisuke. He never learned how to swim that day, nor any day there after. His love for summer never changed, but he would always fear water after that day.

Koichi felt it was best to move once again. . .

A few months after moving, Eichi was growing weary of uprooting their life to move from place to place. He eventually sat down with his father to talk about staying in an apartment of his own in Tokyo, where he was offered a job as a video game graphic designer. And with him being so worried about Daisuke, he offered to take Daisuke to Tokyo with him. Though heart broken and afraid for his sons, Koichi felt it was best for them to have a steady life together. So he agreed and even helped the boys find and settle in an apartment. Eichi was twenty one and was already working and making a steady pay when they moved into their apartment, but his younger brother was without a job and worried about the payments Eichi had to make all by himself. He had searched for jobs himself, but Daisuke was an absolute klutz at ever job he worked, and was eventually fired. It seemed hopeless so he eventually began dancing on the streets for money, which was working out pretty well much to Eichi's surprise.

A few months after his seventeenth birthday, his street dancing days were over when he was scouted and asked to join Generation 48. Although he had heard of the group and its popularity with generation one, Daisuke never even considered joining. But he accepted immediately, happy that he was able to do something he loved and make some money while doing it. Koichi is very proud of his son and his achievements. Though his mother, Saiko, does not approve of Daisuke's choice in joining Generation 48.

Additional Info:

- Veeeeryyy insecure about his singing voice! It isn't bad, though he clearly needs practice. (Also insecure about his body, but that's a whole different story e.e )
- Daisuke is bisexual, and has two exes. His ex boyfriend, Izumi, is still very close, though his ex girlfriend, Momoe, is not interested in friendship and only wants him back (and she's a little bit loony e.e )
- Wings on his boots are detachable!
- Daisuke really wants a pet! A cat or a little mouse of some sort (but his brother is allergic ;o; )
- His natural hair color is black. He wants to be a blond but he hates being confused with the popular vocaloid Len Kagamine. Eichi helps him keep up with the color xD
- Birthday is August 22nd
- Not very bright :I
- Plays the bass guitar.
- Loves American style dancing and music. Its surprising to many people when he says he loves rock music (and one of his favorite bands is an American band called System Of A Down )
- Bad at video games. Especially the dance ones (irony xD )
- Has a very odd relationship with food. Previously anorexic and bulimic, Daisuke is picky about what he eats.. He loves food and hates it at the same time.
